Stay Genuine, Tables Will Always Turn

Life often feels like that desert—silent, empty, and waiting. Sometimes, being honest, kind, or faithful feels unnoticed while others seem to run ahead with shortcuts and deceit. But God’s Word reminds us:

“For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His saints.” (Psalm 37:28)

Like a child waiting with a lantern—just as we wait with the light of Christ in our hearts. Jesus said: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

The desert may seem long, but the sunrise always comes. Tables always turn.

Joseph was betrayed, yet God raised him to greatness (Genesis 41:40-41 “You shall be [g]over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you. See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”).

Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den, yet God lifted him up (Daniel 6:25-27 To all peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you.  I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel.

For He is the living God,
And steadfast forever;
His kingdom
is the one which shall not be destroyed,
And His dominion
shall endure to the end.
He delivers and rescues,
And He works signs and wonders
In heaven and on earth,
Who has delivered Daniel from the [i]power of the lions
).

Even Jesus was rejected and crucified—but He rose again in glory (Philippians 2:8–11 “God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.).

Let’s not lose heart.

Stay genuine. Let’s keep our lantern burning. The God who sees in secret will reward in His perfect time.  (Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”)

Hold on—the sunrise is near.

Shalom!!
